Being one of the founding members of SVP India Ahmedabad Chapter, it has been a journey to see it evolve to what it is today. It was an experience working with our first NGO Kaarigar Clinic that saw the success that it did and subsequently with many others who are solving for problems that will help move the needle in our communities. In my own personal capacity, I am working with many NGOs and Social Purpose organizations but SVP provides me a space to really get involved and mentor hands on small/mid-sized organizations that have the potential to scale and make big impact.

What our Partners and Nonprofits say
Yatindra Sharma

Nagli has a rich nutritional profile; unfortunately, the schools have not been using these rich ingredients available in their own environment for mid-day meals. When this proposition to scale enterprises in Dangs came to us, it was a no-brainer to propose. The project has benefited from collaborations across sectors to make this project a reality.
Vimal Ambani

We bet on a winning horse – Ideating and brainstorming on this pilot project was a great experience. What struck me the most was when a Rabari woman, in her traditional garb, came and sat with us in the meeting room and told her story with her husband waiting outside-that was the empowerment I knew we had to multiply.
Romen Sood

I got to work with Prabhat and saw first-hand the extreme struggle of lower-income families of children with ID. Significant challenges remain to be overcome, including identifying and preparing organizations to accept people with ID in their workforce. SVP is working with Prabhat on its journey to make a difference.
Jayanth Murthy

Informed philanthropy is different and much more impactful. It does not remove the emotional aspects but multiplies one’s efforts and contributions. I am getting to know what others are doing, which inspires me to engage and do more. SVP has helped me grow, network, and collaborate.
Malay Patel

It’s great to see the transformation inside and outside for the people we are trying to scale up – better income for them and contentment at the end of the day because we became a change agent.
