At Our Chapter
Established in 2023, the Chennai Chapter of SVP India is its youngest and one of its fastest-growing chapters, bringing together an engaged community of philanthropists, many with experience in the social sector. Over the past three years, the chapter has focused on four key impact areas: education and skill development, women’s empowerment, livelihood enhancement and the environment.
A memorable initiative of the chapter is Let’s Connect, organised over two years to help prospective and new Partners understand SVP India, its work and committees. Its engaged community and shared commitment to social impact is what makes the chapter distinctive, where several of the chapter’s partners work in or belong to the social sector in their individual capacity as well.
