At Our Chapter
Launched in 2016, the Delhi-NCR Chapter of SVP India brings together partners from business, public policy and the social sector to strengthen nonprofits and deepen their impact. Its focus areas include education, livelihoods, health, disability inclusion, environment and the arts. Across these areas, our core focus is strengthening organisations through capacity-building grants, partner expertise and access to networks.
A recent milestone that the chapter celebrated was its tenth anniversary in October 2026, marking a decade of collective giving and hands-on engagement. Another key event was Prerna 2026, the chapter's flagship annual event, which brought partners, nonprofit leaders and supporters together. The chapter’s key strength lies in leveraging corporate and institutional networks to create practical opportunities for nonprofits.

"For me at SVP, everyday is a learning and humbling experience, on how we can share our knowledge and work with like minded people to improve the lives of fellow citizens, who unfortunately do not have access to basic necessities of life. The joy of seeing the smile on the faces of men, women and children who can live a life of dignity is much more satisfying than any awards or milestones one would have achieved in the corporate world. I would sincerely advice everyone to undertake social work from the very first day they start attending school and not wait till their retirement. At SVP, you get an opportunity to work with like minded people, whose sole objective is to provide sustainable livelihood to the not so fortunate sections of our society."

Warren Buffet in his note explaining his reason for the pledge made the point that it’s a relatively easy decision to give money which one doesn’t need, but much tougher to really commit the most precious asset of any individual, i.e time. SVP is an initiative that provides the platform to do so. My experience in mentoring Udayan Care and The Buddha Institute has been very rewarding and I look forward to SVP becoming a really scalable platform for lots of like-minded people.

What our Partners and Nonprofits say
Harjeet Kohli

Through my engagements with SVP, I have seen the successful co-mingling of monetary contributions complemented by providing intangibles to the Investee firms – wisdom, leadership, guidance, and process orientation. It has been an incredible journey that I am grateful for, and I look forward to being a meaningful contributor to society.
Piyush Chawla

Working as a Lead Partner with SVP continues to be a very enriching journey. Not only has it sensitized me with the ground realities faced by a large section of our population, but it also provided a platform to work closely with some of the brightest nonprofits and other Lead Partners, all doing exemplary work to support the underprivileged.
Shantanu Ghosh

Saajha is doing unique work in parental involvement in children’s education and needed a robust tech platform to scale up their ability to interact and influence parents.
