Tapasya

In project Sakhi, we will be focusing on 1800 families in a project cycle of three years to secure their livelihood by helping the families in getting access to various welfare schemes for a minimum value of INR 6000/family/year. The aim is to support one community for 3-5 years to make the model sustainable and empowered by the time the project is over.
Tapasya works for families from economically weaker and disadvantaged sections of society who are not able to unlock the benefits of multiple welfare schemes due to a lack of awareness and support systems. In a country like India having 1.39 billion population, 83% of families are earning less than 1.2 lakh/annum; i.e., 10K/month.
