Jogin Desai & Reena Desai

Jogin has been a deeply valued partner of the SVP India family since 2013. Over the past decade, he has contributed deeply to SVP’s mission – first as a Lead Partner with NGOs like Vrutti, Taxshe and EquiBeing Foundation and later as the Chair of the Bangalore chapter and member of the CMC. His leadership was pivotal in co-developing the 3F model at Vrutti – a visionary approach that aimed to triple farmer incomes within five years, reflecting his belief in scalable, impact-driven innovation. Professionally, Jogin’s career spans global leadership roles in the life sciences sector. He is the Founder and CEO of Eyestem Research, a Bengaluru-based cell therapy company working to develop affordable and scalable treatments for incurable blindness. His mission is to democratize access to cutting-edge healthcare, ensuring that scientific breakthroughs reach those who need them most. In addition to his work with SVP India, Jogin also serves as a trustee at the Humanist Centre for Medicine and the Ignite Life Science Foundation, further deepening his commitment to healthcare innovation and scientific excellence.
